Historic Detroit duplex
A historic brick duplex with great bones and years of wear. We kept what makes these homes special, the original hardwood and millwork, and rebuilt nearly everything else: two new kitchens, new bathrooms, refinished floors and stairs, and a rebuilt front porch.

Kitchen
Both units got all-new kitchens: navy shaker cabinets, quartz counters, a stone backsplash and stainless appliances over a porcelain tile floor.

Bathroom
We took the old bathrooms down to the framing and rebuilt them with crisp white subway tile, black hex floors, glass tub enclosures and new vanities.

Living room
We sanded and refinished the original hardwood, painted the walls and finished the original woodwork in black. Same bones, completely new feel.

Front stairwell
Treads refinished, risers and rails painted. The first thing you see when you walk in now matches the rest of the house.

Front porch
We rebuilt the worn front steps so the outside makes the same first impression as the inside.
